NATHAN DOUCET

Nathan Doucet of Dartmouth NS, a whirlwind of devilish energy, coming from a deep drum lineage, starting for him at the age of 6. Twirling and winding in acts such as Eddy and Budi, along with producing and writing for his own project Ado, this spaceship has taken him many places, but no planet has ever felt better than Aquakultre. Nathan also plays in, Heaven For Real Fake Buildings, Eddy, Budi and Wayne World to name a few. Be sure to check them all out

LANCE SAMPSON

Lance Sampson of Halifax NS has been writing stories since he fell in love with English class. Throughout his teens he's been in and out of jail, and spend some time as an adult behind bars as well. It was in jail where Lance found his passion for writing music. Lance actually started Aquakultre as a solo act, but felt like the movement couldn't be done alone. So he teamed up Nathan, Jeremy, and Nick to help footprint the legacy.  Lance is also a member of super hip-hop group SIPSET, and is releasing an album with Ghettosocks sometime in 2019, look out for "Holos" by AQUASOCKS. Independent music can be found on Soundcloud.

"I was blown away by his presence as a performer" - Duane Jones, Art Pays Me founder

Jeremy "Special" Costello has been playing and writing music in Halifax since 2008. His specialties include playing bass, angelic singing and audio engineering. He has worked in numerous collaborations including music for live dance, scoring short films, composing for musicals and co-creating pod casts. Backing up Lance in Aquakultre has been an incredible high water mark in Jeremy's musical trajectory. He hopes to continue to work with Aquakultre in and out of the studio going forward.

@Taniaheath

Nick Dourado is quite simply one of Canada’s most active and vibrant young musicians; known across the country for his work with a very healthy variety of ensembles (BUDI, Special Costello, Century Egg, Kirsten Olivia, Beverly-Glenn Copeland) He’s ubiquitous, politically minded, and performative, and the work he does bursts with vitality. As eclectic as he is thoughtful, he continues to cultivate a practice that embraces a mix of spontaneity, exploration, and tradition in a manner that simultaneously reinforces and reimagines contemporary music work.
